ARCDS Round 6 – Saturday August 21st
Racers get ready as we are approaching Round (6) of the 2021 Allstar RC Dirt Series. The racing and competition has been strong this season as new players have positioned themselves to finish the point season on a high. Wes Weigand is holding down the Street Stock class and it looks like the championship with definitely go through that 88 car. In Muddboss, Zach Jones is trying to distance himself from the field but Sam Goodwin is just one point behind heading into Round 6. They have a 7-8 point margin on Randy Martin whose posted a solid year to date. Cody Patterson is lurking in 4th just one good points day away from reinserting himself into the title mix.
Muddboss Pro has seen Wes Weigand again rolling to a nice points lead due to the three bagger, winning Round 2-4 of Allstar RC Dirt Series A-Main wins. That set him apart from the field and made it clear the 2021 championship goes the 88 car, with crew chief help from his son Aiden, whose dominating the stock slash class, though it does not pay points Aiden will be a great addition to the street stock class in 2022.
SR10 Street Stock was a late addition to the ARCDS 2021 series. Kenneth Westfall started strong with a win in Round 4. The blown street stock could not muster enough air in that blown motor ran hot going in circles, suffering a dismal 5th place finish in Round (5) giving the points lead to Jason Welch whose put back-to-back races together scoring 98 and 99 points. While some are worried about looking cool Jason’s Monte Carlo is knocking off consistent lap times and finishes. Round (6) will define who takes command of the SR10 2021 street stock points battle.
Remember, we are just (13) days away from Round 6, get the cars ready and lets finish the season out strong. Keep in touch on Facebook for race day information. Special thanks to Doug Ivey, Jeremey Cupps, Gulf Coast Speedway, T3 Innovations, Robert Leininger, Shane Watkins, Roger Watkins and those helping to make the series successful!!
